Today is February 3rd (Setsubun).
In conjunction with "Setsubun," a time to drive away evil spirits and wish for good health and happiness,
Kushiji, a charcoal grill and sushi restaurant, has prepared a special Setsubun appetizer.
We make our products with the hope that they will bring "good fortune" to everyone.

✨February 3, "Setsubun no Hi" limited appetizer
Fukufuku-mame (peanut)
In Hokkaido, there is a custom of sowing peanuts.
The beans are used to ward off evil by hitting the demon's eyes with the "devil's eyes". The "fuku-mame" (lucky beans) are also used to bring in good fortune.
simmered sardine with ume plum paste
It has been said since ancient times that the smell of sardines is enough to drive away evil spirits.
The rice is carefully cooked to drive away evil spirits.
Sushi with mountain burdock root and golden barbwurst
This is a lucky snack that uses burdock root as a "demon's club".
Add a playful spirit typical of Setsubun.
Holly leaves
The thorny leaves are said to prick the eyes of demons and keep them away.
The custom of Setsubun is kept intact.

*Quantity will be limited.
The "appetizer" is provided to customers who order single items after 5:00 p.m.
700 yen (tax included) will be charged as an appetizer.

👹 On the evening of Setsubun, come to Kushiro to taste the "good fortune".
